Welcome to the unveil of our wonderland brand. As an agency we've matured from our days of being “thoughtful and playful” into a direction of confidently minimalistic iteration.

Our new brand draws on our close connection with nature, and science, connecting with our mission of helping sustainable brands grow and stand out in a hyper-connected world. In addition, the re-brand can be seen as a visual homage to our dedication to helping sustainable brands grow and stand out in a hyper-connected world.

The Wonderland nature

Our re-brand focusses on uncovering the perfect visual tool to represent our internal values, and those which we want to share with our clients. The answer was found in the uniqueness, fragility and possibility of nature. Unique, natural elements such as precious stones, blooming flowers and crystals were crafted from scratch.

They are all original Wonderland designs, each concept visualises how we want to help brands stand out in the market, and how we want to help our people grow.

A sustainable Wonderland

One of the main challenges was setting ourselves the goal of improving the sustainability of the website by applying the sustainable techniques that we have learned through our Sustainable Digital Design initiative.

Sustainable Digital Design as a whole can be quite vague and as we found out there is still a lot to be discovered and defined. On the one hand, you want a super simple site that doesn’t consume energy while, on the other hand, offers a mind-blowing experience that is both engaging and visually stunning. Balancing the two sides remains a journey on its own, but it is not one we’re alone in. More and more creatives are sharing their take on being sustainable “online” in their work as brand designers, illustrators, and UI/UX designers.

A scientific approach

Our creative process, which is backed by research and data, is to be reflected in our visuals. See data and process-inspired animations come to life throughout the site. With the help of Natural Language Processing (NLP), a branch of linguistic ai, we analysed the words most commonly used in our communications. Resulting in a visual system that reflects our values and our data-driven process. These hidden details are threaded throughout the new website, giving a visual representation of an often abstract part of our process. All the hidden details that our readers will find when they look closely.

Doing good for our people and the planet

Merging everything together over the last few weeks has been as equally exciting as it has been challenging. The finished product visually represents who we are and where we want to go, with the primary focus being a creative outcome for companies and people who want to do something good for people and the planet.

Internally, alongside creating the new version of Wonderland, the team are busy in the process to become a B-corp, implementing strategies to better Wonderland's social and environmental impact. We will use our website as a platform to share the strategies that we uncover during this process.
